Am I still in control, or is the AI deciding for me?
Short answer: you are. S9 InnerView’s AI Interview Assistant calls plays from the sideline — questions, follow-ups, in real time — but you’re still the one on the field. You decide what to ask, when to deviate, and how to respond. It doesn’t grade you, and it doesn’t grade the candidate without your input.

How It Works, Step by Step
Step 1
Suggests
Preset questions and real-time follow-ups appear on screen as the conversation happens.
Step 2
Decide
You accept a suggestion, skip it, or ask something else entirely.
Step 3
Record
Your own notes sit next to the system’s output afterward, not replaced by it.
Step 4
Interview Feedback
A Stratum Score for the candidate, plus a summary of your own session — both yours to review.

The AI Doesn’t Get a Vote
It’s a fair thing to worry about — a tool that listens to your interview and generates suggestions in real time can feel like it’s evaluating you, not just helping you. It isn’t. There’s no mechanism in S9 InnerView that scores or grades an interviewer, and no interview is scored without the interviewer’s own active participation.

Your Control Stays Yours
Skip a suggestion, or ask something else the assistant proposes, it doesn’t require. When more than one person interviews the same candidate, a secondary or panel interviewer can view questions and add notes, but can’t record the session or submit a score themselves — they leave the interview and give feedback separately afterward. The primary interviewer’s control over the live conversation isn’t shared or diluted by anyone else being present.

No. There’s no mechanism in InnerView that scores or evaluates the interviewer — only the candidate’s responses, and only with the interviewer present and actively participating.
You skip it or ask something else. Suggestions are optional prompts, not a script you’re required to follow — you can come back to one later if it becomes relevant, or ignore it entirely.
A Stratum Score for the candidate, broken down by skill with the evidence behind each part — plus a summary of what was actually covered in the conversation, so you have a clear record of your own session, not just a number that shows up somewhere else.
